The more funds we raise, the more successful Safe Routes Athens will be in making our streets safe for kids, and the more they will be encouraged to engage in healthy, productive physical activity. Every dollar counts! How Your Contribution Helps Your contribution can help us meet our basic needs, which include safety equipment; publications to educate our kids; refreshments and promotional materials; bicycle locks, pumps, and tool kits for each school; helmets and bicycles for low-income school children; Cycling Instructor Certification Seminars for volunteers who will provide bike safety classes for kids; and administrative funds to support the task force and each school leadership team. You can also volunteer to help with SafeRoutesAthens activities. |
